New version of the package: Asix.Evo 8.0.5

On March 28th, 2015 the new Asix.Evo 8.0.5 package version has been launched on the market. It includes service and functional changes.

For the alarm system, the new sorting mode 'Event Sequence' has been added. It allows to set the real sequence of events by the time (determined by buffer or OPC strategy, or notified by scripts) of event start/end.

The set of Asix.Evo expression functions has new items:

  • function Angle() - returns the angle (0 to 360) corresponding to the cursor position, when you click on the current visualization object, relative to the center of the object; the angle is calculated on the basis of the X axis clockwise; this solution allows you to control the object rotation by calculating the position of point you clicked into the angle of the object rotation;
  • function Slide(val, period) - allows linear simulation of value changes at a specified time; it is for visualization object changing its position on a synoptical diagram depending on the variable the values of which change discontinuously; after applying the function, the object will be changing its position smoothly (about 16 times per second - i.e. if the parameter period has 3 seconds declared, the time of the object movement will be exceeded and the object will change its position 48 times in the meantime);
  • function AsbaseText(dict, value) - allows you to convert a numerical value to its text equivalent; assignment number-text is defined in the dictionary created in the AsBase application; in the typical case, a numerical value is taken from a variable belonging to a set of variables which is used in Asbase family operator actions.

News about Asixa.Evo visualization objects include:

  • Chart has the new property that allows the Y axis zooming /panning lock; moreover, it is added the ability to declare its own permanent format of the time axis, as well as the ability to declare the color, type, style and size of the cursor font;
  • Line and Polygon have the ability to paint Bezier curves added for creation of smoothly curved line shapes;
  • Text object has gained a new property 'Feedback Timeout', used to conceal delay between sending a control and the actual execution of the control; in practice, it means that after the execution of control the object displays the set value independently of the real value; not before the feedback timeout passing the object starts dislaying the real value; such a solution allows you to hide flickering of the object state during the control execution.

Other changes:

  • Asix.Evo introduces support for multilingual text in AsBase application data; this applies in multilingual applications; declaring texts in the AsBase application according to the following syntax: [1 language code, for example: PL] text [code 2 language, for example: EN] text ... enables automatic language switching of these texts adequately to the Asix.Evo language application;
  • the list of Asix communication drivers has a new driver CtVantage for reading data from weather stations of Vantage Pro family manufactured by Davis Instruments Corp. USA;
  • new Asmen conversion functions:
    • SLIDER2_FP - works similar to ANALOG_FP (function converts the value of WORD type process variable to a real variable), but the highest bit of the value written to /read from the controller is cleared;
    • FACTOR_DOUBLE - converts the value of WORD type process variable to a double precision real variable according to the equation: PCVal=A*PLCVal+B;
    • FACTOR _INTG4 - converts the value of INT64 type process variable to a double precision real variable according to the equation: PCVal=A*PLCVal+B.
  • changes in Asix communication driver parameterization:
    • MultiMuz3 - support for 01_09 type protection added;
    • MultiMuz3_tcpip - support for 01_09 and 01_12M type protection added;
    • S7_tcpip - options declaring: log file, log file size, log of telegrams and log of telegram text are possible to set in the channel parameters.
