With the pleasure we'd like to inform on issue of the educational package of asix system intended to university / college usage. The educational  asix package offered as asix-EDUS is a practical, educational aid for the students who want to learn technology of designing industrial visualization and control systems based on asix software. asix-EDUS includes 5 licenses with the functionality dependent on the way of configuring the USB hardware dongles used to run the software. An additional program available in the package enables reprogramming of the dongles according to the users’ needs – so that the program could work as:

• WAUT – network terminal,
• WAUW – unlimited operator station,
• WAUS – unlimited operator server,
• WAUO – operator terminal.

There are additional options available for each dongle:

• asix-4Internet – portal/ WWW server for simultaneous operation of one client,
• AsAudit,
• station/server extension to multi-monitor operation.

The asix-EDUS license is valid for 1 academic year (till 30 September) – after this time the free of charge updating is needed in ASKOM company.

ASKOM guarantees within the asix-EDUS license the free technical support and access to the up-to-date software documentation and asix news.
