asix facilitates creation of telemetric systems typical for applications in municipal media management (water supply, sewage draining, heat and gas distribution networks).

AsComm module simplifies configuration and start-up of the telemetric system in the scope of cyclical data reading with the use of Modbus RTU or Gazmodem protocols on the dialed lines. The designer’s duties are practically reduced to assigning phone numbers to specific COM serial ports, defining the cycle of queries in specific modem lines, and defining the list of addresses of queried end devices. AsComm also helps in configuration of the systems based on Centrex service.

On the other hand, the AsAlert module allows organization of the remote notification of selected persons about important system events, e.g. to notify the technical emergency services about a leakage in the water network. The alert can be sent in the form of SMS message or an e-mail through Internet or on the basis of GSM mobile carrier services. The addressee can be an individual person or a group of addressees defined beforehand or changed according to the schedule of shifts defined in the AsAlert module database and each time revised before sending an alert.
