In both presented application classes, the natural solution is to utilize SQL databases with their specific mechanisms for transactional record saving, searching for information on the basis of given keyword, dictionaries, etc. According to the philosophy of a user-friendly system, asix offers AsBase module enabling the creation and support for applications with use of SQL databases in a fully interactive manner, only through parameterization in dialogue boxes. AsBase does not require the arduous  database programming, e.g. with use of script languages, which calls for  profound IT expertise.

The scope of functions executed by AsBase includes: 

• dialogue-based application creation, including the creation of database structures 
• access rights control system integrated with the application
• automatic archiving of the sets of process variables according to a time schedule or on the basis of their values
• function of manual entry  or modification of the archive 
• receipe editing , selecting and loading receipes for execution and registering the receipe loaded for execution
• system of views enabling the analysis and printout of data related to manufacturing flow tracking and receipe execution
• data export to text, xls, xml, and html files
• embedded database management system 
• support of operator actions for  presentation of  custom complex data views concerning manufacturing or receipe flow tracking
