Trends / Tables – Individualized Presentation of Information
The user-friendly visualization system should allow easy customization of the presentation layout of process information up to the individual preferences, or possibly, to the context of the current situation in the process. In the asix system, this role is fulfilled by the following modules:
-
AsTrend – the module for interactive definition of trends allows archival data to be presented in the form of a chart. The capabilities of AsTrend include the creation of trends presenting up to 16 curves in one set of coordinates, with a custom definable time line, with a reading line allowing for the accurate reading of chart values, with a legend and a rich choice of chart format transformations.
-
Table – the module for the interactive definition of a table for the presentation of current data, marked with variable description, unit of measurement, and measurement range. Variable values are automatically refreshed according to the measurement acquisition cycle.
In both cases, the operator constructs his “views” with the use of the intuitive Variable Selection Window, displaying the entire list of variables with a full list of attributes defined in the database. The list of variables can be sorted by the users according to their own criteria into a tree structure, which, especially in case of large databases containing hundreds and thousands of variables, would significantly simplify the browsing or searching process.
The Trend or Table created by the operator can be used one time only, or can be saved on the hard disc and used on multiple occasions. Both Trend and Table allow the direct data export to an Excel worksheet.
